Prehistory

Training, Advisory and Innovation Center started its activities in 2002 as Advisory - Training Center (ATC) of Rural Advisory Service (RAS). ATC RAS had supported rural development by organizing and conducting trainings and providing with relevant information. The primary target group of ATC is regional centers of Rural Advisory Services and other organizations that work directly with farmers.

ATC RAS had played an important role in gathering information, adaptation to consultant’s and farmer’s needs accordingly, its dissemination through media, trainings and seminars, library and electronic capabilities. ATC Training seminars included such sub-topics as livestock breeding, agronomy, processing, marketing and farm economics, methodology of consulting services, as well as specific topics, providing basic knowledge and skills of clients and partners.

Thus ATC RAS existed more than 6 years. However, in 2008 in connection with the general reform of RAS organization, ATC was reorganized into the “Training, Advisory and Innovation Center” Public Fund. 

“Training, Advisory and Innovation Center” PF 

provides educational, advisory and information services in the field of agriculture to organizations whose work is aimed at overcoming poverty and raising living standards in rural areas.

Our target groups:

• Employees of regional subunits of Rural Advisory Services;

• International & national organizations;

• Non-governmental organizations;

• Private organizations that want to train their staff on some topic, in accordance with TAIC
  curriculum

• Trainings on various agricultural topics, including management and marketing of           
   agriculture; 
• Seminars, round tables;

• TV & radio programs for rural residents;

• Publication of thematic articles in a  newspaper;

• Brochures & books for farmers;

• Extensive library containing more than 10000 publications in several languages;

• Web-site monthly updating by interesting messages.
